i am a dallas native and have been here since 1979. i have been painting since 1993 and favor abstract contemporary art. i also love expressionism and fauvism as expressed in Matisse's art.

my father was an artist, my mother is an artist and i followed in their footsteps. i like to think that there is an artist in everyone and we should all explore that gift. art allows you to use your creativity and imagination to create visual objects that people enjoy.

i fancy myself a self-taught painter with some formal instruction. in 2001 i studied painting at southern methodist university in the meadows school of the arts. i continually strive to create new and exciting art while trying new techniques.
